About Me

Hi, I’m Farah, a legal professional in London and now soon-to-be mama!

A huge part of my day job is legal research and writing. I can easily spend hours lost in a case deconstructing my legal arguments to find weaknesses in my opponents’ case. A lot about what I do comes down to writing and planning. This is pretty much all I have become accustomed to on a daily basis.

However, I am about to embark on a completely different adventure. One that is miles away from my familiar legal routine and one which (some would say) is the world’s hardest job – becoming a mum.

In 1 month, I will be taking maternity leave, leaving behind everything familiar to me and acquiring a whole new set of skills. That is why I have started this blog. This is a way for me to continue connecting with words; to share my feelings and experiences with you all and for me to keep somewhat of a diary of my journey into the unknown.
